About Us.
MyTicker is a Holter monitoring service run by TickerCardiology and backed by Australia’s largest independent group of cardiac physiologists. We strive for continued excellence in the provision of diagnostic cardiology services to all communities in need.
All reporting is undertaken by Australian-trained cardiac physiologists under the governance of CSANZ member Electrophysiologists. Our technical staff and software development team are all in-house to ensure all our systems stay robust and work for you.
All studies are screened at the point of analysis to ensure duration and quality meet Medicare requirements and ensure high value testing.
Our staff are ready to answer your enquires from our Brisbane-based office.
Meet the Team
Dr Stephen Pavia, MBBS, FRACP, FCSANZ - Reporting Electrophysiologist
Dr Stephen Pavia completed his cardiology training in 1998 by rotation through Princess Alexandra, the Townsville General, the Prince Charles and the Royal Brisbane hospitals. His post graduate fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing was completed in 2001 at the Cleveland Clinic, USA. His field of expertise includes all aspects of electrophysiology, including ablation and cardiac device implantation.
Dr Pavia has a special interest in remote monitoring of cardiac implantable devices and the diagnosis and management of syncope (commonly known as blackouts or fainting). He values the use of the latest in diagnostic and remote monitoring technology, which aids in the detection of potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias.
Jason Riley, BSc, Grad Dip Cardiac EP, Cardiac EP and Device Specialist (IBHRE)
Chief cardiac physiologist
Jason has worked in the cardiac EP and device field for over 25 years. He is the Director of CEPIA (Cardiac Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia), an accredited training organisation providing world-class education to medical professionals in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. He is also the Director of Epicentre Medical, a team of highly trained cardiac physiologists who provide cardiac EP, CIED and Remote Monitoring services to hospitals, cardiology practices and device companies.
He is currently developing Mazevo, a remote monitoring platform to allow patient-centric, asynchronous models of care through a cutting edge data platform to improve patient outcomes for people with cardiac rhythm disorders.
Caitlin Cox, B Clin Ex Phys (Hons), Grad Dip Cardiac Ultrasound (Distinction)
Holter Lab Manager
Caitlin oversees our team of cardiac physiologists delivering high quality arrhythmia diagnostic services across a variety of clinics in metropolitan, regional and remote locations in Australia.
Caitlin’s own experience running ambulatory monitoring, exercise stress testing and echocardiography clinics across numerous public and private settings has provided her with a tangible understanding of the numerous components required to offer a rapid and trusted cardiac diagnostic service.
She is especially interested in improving patient access to cardiac diagnostic testing and is proud of the patient-centric focus of the MyTicker service.
